The STARTING
DAYS of holidays vary
and are shown against each property
entry. These might be flexible
in low and sometimes mid season.
RESERVATIONS can be made through the Availability section. The booking (subject to completed booking form and deposit payment) will be confirmed by Salcombe Holiday Homes staff by telephone.
BOOKINGS can otherwise be taken by telephone provided that the person booking is familiar with and accepts the conditions of hire. All telephone bookings paid for by credit/debit card, whether deposits or balance payments, are subject to 'Conditions of Hire' (see Clause One).
Please TELEPHONE first. It
is often easier to find accommodation
best suited to your needs after a
brief conversation, as all of our
staff have a detailed knowledge of
our properties. Please state any
special requirements, such as limited
mobility,allergies or other medical conditions.
PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS can
be taken over the phone or internet
and held for a maximum of five days.
BOOKING
FORM If not completed by Salcombe Holiday Homes staff during a telephone conversation please print, complete
and return a form with your deposit and
booking fee. If you are booking
within 56 days of your holiday,
you will need to send full payment.
CONFIRMATION of your booking
will be sent to you on receipt of
your booking form and deposit. This
will show your booking reference
number, the balance payment due for
your holiday and the date by which
it must be paid (56 days prior to
arrival).
TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS and Details of Key Collection
and Access to the property
will be sent on receipt of your
final payment. Tenants are asked not to enter without SHH permission and if they do gain entry do so entirely at their own risk without guarantee of readiness of the property for occupation. If tenants do arrive early and, with the agreement of SHH, take up occupation before 3.00pm no guarantee can be given that SHH staff, cleaners, or other tradesmen will not enter the premises before 3.00pm and no liability can be accepted for loss or damage to items left in the property.
SECURITY
DEPOSITS at the discretion
of the owner or agent, may be required
with some bookings (particularly
non-family or large group bookings).
These are payable 14 days prior to
the holiday and refunded within
14 days of the completion date
of the holiday.
PAYMENT cheques should be
made payable to Salcombe Holiday
Homes. Payment can also be made by
debit or credit card but a surcharge
of 2% is payable on balance payments.
No surcharge applies to deposit payments
nor to balance payments made by cheque.
NON
UK RESIDENTS are asked to make
full payment at the time of booking.
All payments must be in Sterling
or by Credit Card.
CANCELLATION
COVER is provided free of charge for
UK residents. Outline details of the inclusive scheme
are given in the Conditions
of Hire and more
complete details are here.
The SHH scheme does not extend to
overseas visitors and to bookings exceeding £4000 - who are required to make their own cancellation cover arrangements and submit details of these to the agent. These bookings are otherwise subject to payment of all rents at the time of booking.
RENTS quoted are weekly and
are inclusive of gas and electricity.
