Really lovely apartment, although steps very steep to get in and out. Very steep incline down to Salcombe shops and restaurants etc too, so not for the feint hearted. But we have just had a really great holiday there, it is a lovely, clean & quite spacious apartment, can recommend highly. Must be fit and agile though to walk into town and back it's quite the challenge. That being said, the apartment itself could not have been nicer.

The balcony: outside area was not in use as it was apparently being replaced, this seams to have been the case for over 6 months prior to us arriving. We booked in the belief that it would be available, no discount was offered. Situated at the top of the town, steep hill to walk up. The cottage has a strong smell of curry when we arrived. We could not use the wardrobe s because of the stale old wood smell when we opened them.

Lovely well furnished apartment in a peaceful area We thoroughly enjoyed our stay On the down side we were disappointed that the balcony was out of service which was not notified to us beforehand and should really have warranted a discount on the cost of the holiday. Access was via steep steps to the back of the property which would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Cleanliness needs attention as the toilet in the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. Recommend that book restaurants before arriving as the resort was very busy

Spacious, stylish one floor apartment with own parking space a bonus. A shame the front entrance on the balcony was out of use. We thought the check in/out times were excessive, not gaining access until 5pm and departure by 9 am

Lovely comfortable flat in a good location. Access is difficult for anyone not able to use stairs. Great value for money. Flat was clean, main bed was comfy but twin beds were quite uncomfortable. Kitchen is a little dated but very well equipped. Bathrooms were lovely, although we did have a problem with a broken tap in the main bathroom and a leak at 10pm was a little stressful - however the on call emergency contact was very helpful and the problem was resolved the next morning. We were a little disappointed to hear the tap problem had occurred before and the tap had not been mended properly. It was also very disappointing that we were not able to use the front decking/steps, which would have been perfect in the glorious Devon sunshine! Overall a comfy flat, we would return!
