Lovely large, well located holiday apartment with parking and garage. Big bedrooms with good storage and lovely en-suite shower room to the main bedroom. Comfortable lounge/dining area with amazing views over the estuary and easy walk into Salcombe with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. Some elements could do with upgrading - for example a welcome hamper (e.g. Tea, Coffee, Milk, Bread etc.) and a smart TV. Wifi connectivity was good.

Excellent apartment with wonderful views. Accommodation is very good with spacious bedrooms and lounge dining area. Good parking area with garage.

Agree with previous comment that 8 Poundstone Court is in a great location, handy for most amenities in Salcombe (although local Co op is a good brisk 10 minutes' walk away for provisions), but quiet. Designated, convenient parking was a bonus. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well designed for two couples, giving plenty of privacy in the separation between the two bedroom/bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and included a dishwasher and also a full sized freezer (not a fridge with ice box, as my booking confirmation indicated). The open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen is spacious and all very well designed, and has wonderful views from all those areas. The bedrooms also have sea views, unlike some of the other Poundstone apartments, which faced the cliff at the back and the pedestrian walkways around the block so we felt fortunate to have chosen number 8. The main feature of the apartment is the stunning view, and we all fell in love with that - the blue/green water of the beautiful estuary, with the pale sandy beaches opposite. We enjoyed watching the activity on the river and were sad to say goodbye to our view at the end of the week. In fact, we enjoyed the apartment and Salcombe so much that my sister in law booked a week for May next year before she went home!

we liked the flat from point of view of its size great views excellent kitchen and bathrooms fine. However a number of old pieces of furniture was out of keeping with the accommodation and not worthy of use. what really put us of was the old brown stained quilt and other bedding left on the top shelf in the second bedroom cupboard. Also the old blanket box in this room was filled with old stained bed linen and blankets. heating was excellent. It just needs a few simple inexpensive touches ie old crooked pictures replaced with some local coastal scenes and comtemporary furniture. It just felt like certain things had been dumped and not enough thought and attention to detail. Excellent parking and well cleaned kitchen and bathrooms.

Peaceful location but still relatively central to the town. Safe parking which is a rarity in Salcombe.

Excellent location and comfortable apartment, with wonderful views. Sofas & beds very comfortable. Could do with some up-dated pictures and Shower in 2nd bedroom, even if its over bath, would make it a 10 for us then.
