We stayed at this property during Christmas holidays. We’ve been in Salcombe before and always loved spending time here The property was spacious, warm and perfect for a family of 4. Very convenient and short walk to the town center; the road to the property is a bit steep, we got used to it after a couple of days but maybe not ideal for elderly people. The only negative feedback we need to give is that as soon as we arrived we noticed a strong and persistent smell of mould. We tried to air the apartment opening windows regularly but it didn’t completely go away and we could smell it in our clothes even when we returned home! That’s why our overall rating is 9 and not 10.

Comfortable apartment with the essential (for Devon) onsite parking. Apartment felt a little chilly when we arrived but heating easy to use and effective. Lovely garden. No hairdryer so remember to pack one if this is important for you. Location on a very steep hill coming up from the town centre. Not a problem for us (we were on a walking holiday anyway) but could be an issue for anyone with even a slight mobility problem. TV really should be upgraded to a Smart TV. Overall a lovely base for this beautiful part of the country.

A nice clean comfortable apartment in a decent location. Thought the provision of just two dishwasher tabs and two loo rolls was a bit mean, but overall I'd recommend it

Accommodation comfortable, clean and very well equipped and I would really recommend it. We have visited Salcombe many times over the years and sadly, it has lost much of its charm due to commercial development, but still a nice place for a few days getaway.

Excellent flat with all home comforts and a lovely garden to enjoy. Excellent local walks. Quite a steep walk from the town.

Great property which was perfectly equipped BAR the out of date TV and dodgy DVD player - this really needs a smart TV in a better location on the wall and then the flat would be perfect. It really ruins the experience and makes the flat feel very dated as after a blusty walk , it would have been great to watch a film as a family. The layout of the sofas, small dated TV (only Terrestrial!) make this really difficult. Apart from that (which according to my kids was a major downer) the property was clean, spacious and well equipped.

Considering you had to wait until 17:00hrs before entry as per instructions so the place could be cleaned to a high standard I cannot say it was that clean, saying that it was a reasonable well equipped flat, but a hair dryer would have been nice considering the price we paid. When foreign holidays get back to normal owners will have to be much more competitive if they want regular bookings.
